Hello! I am Dr Clara.
After graduating from the University of Bristol in 2004, I stayed on in the UK working in a busy small town practice in Lincolnshire.
Eventually after 6 years, it was time to move back home, now accompanied by a dog, and 4 adopted cats.
Having been working as a GP vet for a number of years now, I am especially interested in the well-being of my patients, striving to make treatment decisions with their welfare as my top priority.
I empathize with owners who bring in a sick member of their family and do my best to help them understand their pet’s condition while working through the available treatment options together.
Along the way, what makes my job fulfilling is also getting to know each individual pet and their family.
Outside of work, I try to stay active jogging or swimming, and am trying to revisit the nostalgia of getting lost in a good physical book.
